A sever storm was brewing, forcing me to stay in the studio. I had finished filling the kiln shelves for Monday’s bisque firing, so I turned to Dutch news headlines as collage materials.

Arriving at .ekwc for a thirteen-week combined artists residency, we begin. Our work plan is development of a ceramic panel for modern architecture. The advent of "skins" as vernacular and use of "ceramic" as a building material is the terrain we've committed to explore. Daily we communicate and engage in a process of discovery.
